     Creekside Glass and Mirror is the proud owner of our own restored 1925 Model T Ford, complete with company sign.  The windshield glass was installed by none other than ourselves ... we would not have trusted anyone else to do the job.  Let us handle your antique or classic windshield needs.

 

Restored MODEL T FORD

     Have you had your windshield hit by a flying pebble or rock on the highway?  There is no need to go through the expense of replacing the entire window when Creekside Glass and Mirror can fix the damage while you wait.  It's as easy as 1 ... 2 ... 3.

 

The chip is drilled and cleaned to assure a complete bond with the epoxy resin.  The resin will seep into and fill the entire blemish area.

A small hole is drilled to allow air to be removed, and epoxy to be injected

 The damaged area is put under negative pressure (vacuum), then pressurized to force the epoxy resin into any spider cracks

The vacuum/pressurizing jig is applied

The blemish is hardly noticable ... just as good as new, for a fraction of the cost of a new windshield

NOTE: The success of this procedure depends on many factors.  The longer you wait, the more dust, grime and moisture get into the damaged area, reducing the chances of making a perfect repair.
